CalCam AI ("the app") is operated by 26 Branding Agency Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We built CalCam AI to collect as little as possible.
When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to our server and forwarded to our AI vision provider (Google Gemini) solely to estimate the food, calories, and macronutrients. Meal photos are processed in memory and are never stored on our servers or by us. Only the resulting text estimate (item names, calories, protein, carbs, fat) is saved so it can appear in your history.
CalCam AI uses an anonymous device-based account. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. We store a random account identifier, the body metrics you enter during setup (age, sex, height, weight, activity, goal) to calculate your calorie target, your remaining Scan balance, and your referral code.
Your daily food diary and weight log are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
Scan packs are sold as one-time in-app purchases processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We receive a confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can credit your Scans. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Your text scan history and account record are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
CalCam AI is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
