Privacy Policy

Split & Tax - a bill split and Canadian-tax calculator.

Summary: Split & Tax does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device, and you can clear or delete it at any time.

1. Data we collect

None. Split & Tax has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. It does not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or device identifiers. No data is collected from anyone, including children.

2. How your information is stored

Anything you type into the app (for example: numbers, notes, calculation history) is stored only on your device using the operating system's local storage. It is never transmitted to us, to any server, or to any third party.

3. Data retention

Because no data ever leaves your device, we have nothing to retain on any server. We retain zero personal data - there is no copy of your data on our infrastructure. The data you enter remains on your device for as long as the app is installed, or until you choose to clear it or uninstall the app.

4. How to delete your data

You can delete the data you entered at any time, in any of the following ways:

Use the in-app delete / clear option (where available) to remove specific entries or clear all saved entries.
On iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Split & Tax → Delete App. This removes the app and all of its local data.
On Android: long-press the app icon → App info → Storage & cache → Clear storage (clears local data without uninstalling), or Uninstall (removes the app and all of its local data).

Because we never received your data, no request to us is required to delete it - the deletion is fully under your control on the device. If you would still like to contact us about privacy, write to achats@26branding.com and we will respond within 7 days.

5. Network use

Split & Tax is designed to work fully offline and does not transmit user data over the internet. It contains no third-party advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.

6. Third parties

We do not share data with third parties because no data is collected. The app does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services. No data is sold.

7. Children's privacy

Split & Tax does not collect data from any user, including children under 13. It is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children.

8. Security

Because data never leaves your device, the security of your data depends on your device's own security (passcode, biometrics, device encryption). We recommend enabling a passcode or biometric lock on your device.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
